What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is simply a state of mind involving focus and imagination.  It is different from meditation, sleep and regular waking alertness.  One way to describe hypnosis is purposeful daydreaming.  During that time of daydreaming, you are more open to the healthy suggestions you would like to adopt.  In this way, you are able to "reprogram" habits, believes and patterns that are no longer working for your best interest.
